To reach the settings for Outlook Express, open Outlook Express by clicking on
"Mail" on the desktop. Then select "Edit," and "Preferences..."

Here is the Main Preferences Window. To select options, use the window at the
left to reach the settings you wish to adjust. For this window, you need to
have your settings in this fashion. Where username is entered, you should have
your username instead. You should have your password typed in the field below
next to "Save password" and the box should have an "X"
For this screen, which can be reached by clicking on the "Advanced..." button
in the above window, you should not have any "X's" at all.
By clicking on "News" in the left hand colum, you reach this window.
Make sure your "Server address" is set for news.extremezone.com in
lower case letters. Extremezone does not require authentication
for news groups, so you don't need to do anything with that section.
This is the windows for "Advanced..." in the news section above.
You should have nothing selected or entered for this screen.
Finally, this is the main Outlook Express window.
From here you use the "Send & Receive" button to get your mail.
Use the "New" to create a new email.
Outlook is now configured to receive e-mail from your Extreme
Internet account. If you have a dedicated or DSL connection,
you will automatically retrieve your e-mail from the Extreme
Internet mail server when you launch Outlook. If you have a
dial-up connection, you will have to connect to the Internet
first, then launch Outlook and receive your e-mail.
If you have any difficulties in configuring your e-mail, please
don't hesitate to call Technical Support at 480-368-4638 (ext. 5).
