Microsoft Internet Mail is part of Microsoft Internet Explorer that you received
from your Windows 95 software package or you received it from the Internet.
This application allows you to compose, check, read, and send e-mail messages
and attachments via the Internet.
Internet Mail Configuration
Double click on the Icon on your desktop called "The Internet"
This will bring up your Microsoft Internet Explorer
From the Microsoft Internet Explorer menu bar, choose the Mail option
A pull down menu bar will appear, click on Read Mail
The Internet Mail Configuration screen will appear
Click on Next
Enter your name as you would like it to appear (e.g. John Smith)
Enter your email address (e.g. username@tabletoptelephone.com)
Click on Next
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.tabletoptelephone.com (lower case letters)
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.tabletoptelephone.com (lower case letters)
Click on Next
Place a dot in I use a modem to access my email
Please note: If you are on a network, please advise your systems admin.
Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection: Table Top Telephone If blank,
click on the arrow down button next to the box and find your selection there.
Click on Next
Congratulations, you are now ready to start sending and receiving email on the Internet
Click on Finish
Sending and Checking Mail
Now you should be looking at the Internet Mail Box
Click on New Messages from the Visual Icon bar and start composing your messages
Click on Send and Received to send any queued messages or receive your messages
from the Table Top Telephone Mail Server.
